Artist's Comments

This an OC of mine named Twelth.
I made up her story as I sketched her out...:nod:
She's one of those beings born from trees...
The 12th of her kind in the story I made up...The setting of the story is in the future, where there are only a few trees left...Most of them found in museums for exhibits or something. Her mission is to try to bring the earth back to how it was during creation. :shrug:

This is my favorite picture that I've ever worked on so far...:w00t:
I know that she's in the weirdest pose, and that I got some of the proportions wrong, but I really like it. :nod:
I worked really hard to color it well and to get the shading right...(okay, okay... the shading's kinda awkward...):shrug:
The background's pretty simple, but I like it...^^
This is also the longest deviaition I've worked on... 2 hours of sketch and ink and 4 hours of trial and error in
coloring it... Which makes six hours...^_^

The other time, I read a tutorial about digital painting... It said to stay away from using the dodge, burn and smudge tools..
I tried to not use the burn and dodge tools in this one..
And I'm glad I succeeded...
I couldn't avoid using the smudge tool though... ^^;
